Commissioned as a companion piece for the lady who bought this one from me:
Used a lot of references this time. The blue one was painted on a whim. Literally, I was texting with a friend at the time and said "I feel like painting, what should I paint?" And she said a skull with a black rose in it's mouth, with some blue.
But this time I had a clear objective from the get-go and was a bit less spontaneous about it.

Wow. This is beautiful. I can't stop staring at it. The colors and shading and shades just really make this come to life. Amazing.
