Horns and Heroes project coloring commish

My good buddy ~MR-PHiLL is contributing some art to the Horns and Heroes Project - An event to raise awareness about Rhinos and their precarious position as one of the world's most threatened species.

Phill was running close to the deadline on his art submissions, and asked if he could commission me to color this piece for him. I was happy to oblige!

He wanted the coloring style to emulate the style of Maurice Sendak's Where The Wild Things Are as closely as possible, and I've got to say - For translating some of the most organic traditional artwork I've ever known, into digital media? I think it worked out pretty well, and I'm fairly proud of the result. Phill was pleased too - I got to hear his reaction live over the phone haha! So yez. Good things

I hope to attend this event as it's here in my home town. We shall see.
